Q. & A. with Shannon & Debbie
Why did you start breeding?
I purchased my first Samoyed 40 years ago and started showing her. She won a regional specialty and other club members encouraged me to breed her. The woman I purchased her from helped me decide on a sire and taught me about health testing. After that, I was hooked.
What makes your program special?
I health test my females and only breed to health tested males. My dogs are all raised in the house and socialized before going to their forever homes. The puppies have all DNA tests before they leave me. Most are on their way to being housebroken and walk on a leash before they leave.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
