Q. & A. with Barbara
Why did you start breeding?
I got my first Rottweiler in 1987. My first female came in 1991, Sasha. She was one of the best I have owned. Sasha had a litter and I was in love. Over the years you realize it is just part of you. Breeding demands compassion, something every breeder should have, a passion and compassion for their breed.
What makes your program special?
Years and Years of experience and having a love for the breed. Studying the pedigrees and learning the lines of each dog. Knowing genetics and understanding recessive genes. It’s all part of having a successful breeding.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and tan and black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
