I'm Terrell P., the breeder behind Bichons of Parmele located in Wilmington, NC. We are proud members of the Bichon Frise Club of America and have been recognized as an AKC Breeder of Merit. We care a great deal about the socialization of our puppies and complete comprehensive health tests on all of our breeding dogs. As a relatively small breeder, prospective buyers may be placed on our reservation list, but all can agree it is definitely worth the wait!
Q. & A. with Terrell
Why did you start breeding?
Our love for the Bichon breed dates back to over two decades ago. Over time, our line of champions and home companions have been produced through a careful, diligent and responsible breeding program, and we are always looking to share our Bichons with new families!
What makes your program special?
We only breed with top quality Bichons who conform to the Bichon Club of America’s high standards. Even with years of breed experience, we continue to attend national specialty shows and participate in the American Kennel Club’s educational programs in order to ensure the highest standard of breed type. Our puppies are handled regularly, exposed to different senses, and are all well socialized.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
