I'm Belinda S., the breeder behind Bindy's Boston Terriers located in Lookout Mountain, GA. My breeding program focuses on maintaining the unique characteristics specific to Boston Terriers while striving to produce puppies of excellent health, temperament and sound structure. Breedings are thoughtfully planned to produce my next show prospect (maybe 2 litters a yr). My dogs are fully integrated in my life and sleep in the bed with me. Puppies are raised with Puppy Culture, vaccinated per Jean Dodds protocols, microchipped, registered and BAER tested before leaving me. I show my dogs in the AKC ring, run FCATs and Lure Coursing with them. Health testing includes: BAER, CAER, Patellas, Cardiac, JHC, Spine and Trachea. All are OFA CHIC certified.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I've had bostons for many years and dearly love this breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    My show/breeding dogs all sleep in the bed with me and are the center of my universe. All breeding dogs are CHIC certified, in top health and utd on all vaccines and health testing.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and white, seal and white, brindle and white, and black brindle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Spine (OFA, FCI), Tracheal Hypoplasia, Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
