I'm Tanya T., the breeder behind Birch Creek located in Wasilla, AK. Any dogs considered to be part of my breeding program must be proven to have good health, temperament, and meet breed standards.
Q. & A. with Tanya
Why did you start breeding?
I was lucky enough to have a female from a wonderful breeder who has now been breeding for over 35 years. We became very close and she continues to be a great mentor. We now co-breed litters and look at old pedigrees together discussing old and new alike. My passion to breed stewards to our breed continues to grow.
What makes your program special?
I strive to uphold the integrity of our breed. While “fad” styles of Rottweilers come and go, I work to maintain proper type, structure, health, and temperament. I never waiver outside of standards or ethics when it comes to my breeding program.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
