"Prefer applicants to have experience with the breed. That being said, please do your research on the breed. They love their people and bond hard with their chosen person. Training is of the most important, an untrained dog that does not know basic commands will almost always end up in a shelter. This breed is very smart and will try to get their way and prove to you that their way is right way. It is your job as their human to make them believe your way is better with proper training. These dogs do not stop, hunting, swimming, fetching. running. It is our job to make sure they stay safe and that means watch your dog and assess when he is overdoing it. They are sensitive and know when they have messed up. With love you can teach and train your dog to be the best it can be. Questions are always welcome and encouraged. "

"This price includes 1st round of vaccinations, deworming at 4 ,6, & 8 weeks. In some cases genetic testing would be extra, if requested. Reason being 1 of my females is a PRA carrier, this is not a problem unless you plan to breed. AKC registration would be limited until you show proof of OFA certs on elbows & hips & Genetic testing of EIC, DM, and PRA-Prcd, if you plan to breed. If you do not own the opposite sex, health certs must be obtained and approved by me as well. Once I receive proof of health certs on both dogs, the AKC registration of your dog will be changed to full for an additional $300.00. This insures that my lines stay pure and healthy. I try to go according to who contacts first, and what sex they are interested in, but my wait list is first deposit I receive to hold puppy go to top of the list. I am a small breeder and the pups go fast. Once the deposit is received, it is non-refundable, except at the breeders discretion. All deposits can be applied to next litter should the buyer change their mind."

Rebecca was more than helpful from the start clear through picking up our new fur baby "Zeus". She is very knowledgeable of breeding such an awesome breed as Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. From the very first text till our last, she always gave very informative advice to even tips on welcoming our new baby to our family. It definitely showed her passion that she has for her dogs and puppies. I had a great feeling from the start with Rebecca and she made the whole process of adopting our new fur baby easy and stressless. She had all paperwork and documentation filled out to perfection. We live in Central Oregon and the drive to Las Vegas is a 12 hour trip and her husband Bill was kind enough to deliver "Zeus" to Reno for me to knock off several hours. I never did meet Rebecca in person but shared probably 100 texts and phone call. Bill was a great guy and told him to please give Rebecca a big hug for my appreciation. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rebecca to those people who are searching or know that you want a Chessie, you need to stop searching for any other breeders and go with someone who knows what she's doing and does it with love. My wife and I can't possibly thank her enough for all that she and Bill had done for us. We both are still extremely excited to have finally found a reputable breeder that made "Zeus" our newest family member and couldn't be any happier than we are right now. He is doing so good and a love bug as well. Very smart and has adjusted better than we were hoping. Thank you again Rebecca so very much for everything. 😊

Our experience with Rebecca has been wonderful! From the start, she shared pictures and videos of our puppy’s growth and progress, and called him by the name we had chosen for him, so he already answered to this by the time we met him. She brought our adorable puppy to us at the airport in Las Vegas after we flew in from Northern California. The transition went smoothly, with Rebecca sharing helpful information, and Max did great on the flight back. He immediately settled in to his new forever home as if he’d been here all along! He travels well in the car and is doing terrific on his walks. It’s very apparent that he’s been kennel trained as he’s done great with his potty training and he’s slept through the night in his crate since day 1 with us (an awesome plus!) and also already knew how to sit on command :). How well Max is doing is a testament to Rebecca’s love for her dogs & puppies she raises, and we give her the highest of recommendations!! Greg & Valerie S.

Our family had a wonderful experience with Becci and the pup is wonderful. Becci pretty much had her house broke with the way she kennel trained the pups with a potty box. She’s so smart and at three months old and has started to learn the basics very well. Becci has been wonderful with knowledge to help us with her since we’ve picked her up.

From the very beginning Rebecca was very communicative with every little question and/or concern we had about adopting our first puppy through Good Dog. She walked us through the process, met us more than halfway to meet the 3 boys, including Orange boy who we have named Rusty! She really helped to assure us through every step of the process. She also kept Rusty for us at no added expense until we could pick him up (again, met up with us so the drive would not be as long) a couple weeks after we made our payment. She has been invaluable with her expertise on puppies; regarding vaccinations, puppy training, owner training etc etc etc!!! Thank you, Becci (and Bill) for all you do for these precious furbabies!
