Meet the breeder

I'm Tera M., the breeder behind Blessed Day Doodles located in Harrisonville, MO. Having our dogs in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

Q. & A. with Tera

  • Why did you start breeding?

We are a family of 7 and we've been raising Doodles since before we started raising children! My husband is a third generation dog breeder. His parents bred AKC champion labs for 30 years as did his grandparents. We decided to go with the Labradoodles and Goldendoodles and we never looked back!
  • What makes your program special?

At Blessed Day Doodles one of our top priorities is that our doodles are part of our family and receive daily love and attention. Our breeding dogs live with amazing and carefully chosen guardian families. Our breeding dogs have to pass extensive health testing before they are bred. We test for hips, elbows, patella, cardiac, and a number of DNA tests including PRA/PRCD, ichthyosis, DM, and EIC.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Australian Labradoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
