I'm Julie B., the breeder behind Bline’s Awesome Aussies & Doxies at the Bline Family Farm located in Burkesville, KY. We own a 30 acre farm in KY. Delivery all over the US with our 2nd home being in Sacramento, CA. All our pups keep their tails and they are gorgeous! Our dogs are raised as part of the family. They are exposed to various sights and sounds from being a part of indoor home life, to taking part in living on a small farm. If you are able to come pick up your fur baby in person you’ll get to enjoy our slice of heaven!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We have always loved Australian Shepherds and owned 3 of them when the kids were little. We had 1 litter back then, but it was sort of crazy raising puppies and 3 young kids at the same time. So our dream was to someday have property in the country when the kids were older, so that we could start breeding again. That time came in 2015! We fervently hope that our puppies bring joy to your family, the way they do to ours.🥰

  • What makes your program special?

    ❤️ Our pups are loved on and handled from day one. I stay right next to my moms when they are giving birth and they are in our bedroom until about 3 weeks old. We do Early Neurological Stimulation, socialization and temperament evaluation on all our babies. We have an application process in order to ensure that we match you with the perfect Aussie or AussieDoodle. All pups have a health guarantee. All parents are DNA Tested.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include tiny and miniature sizes. Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Dachshund puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, red merle, red, and black. Dachshund puppies include piebald, red, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), brindle, gray (blue) and cream, gray (blue) and tan, chocolate and cream, black and cream, black and tan, blue and tan, chocolate and tan, blue and cream, fawn (isabella) and tan, and dapple. Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, red, dilute blue, dilute red, and white. Aussiedoodle puppies include sable, brown and white, apricot, blue merle, red merle, black phantom, black and white, black tri-color, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Julie

Julie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Julie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 refundable deposit and between $200 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Working with Julie was such a positive experience. I didn’t choose Oliver from a photo on-site—instead, I reached out with preferences for temperament, coat coloring, and eye color, and noticed one of her dogs was expecting. Within just a few days, Julie contacted me about a red merle boy with blue eyes—the runt of the litter—who enjoyed being held. I made the long drive and stayed overnight in her newly renovated, charming cottage. That gave me a chance to meet Oliver, play with him, and return him to the puppy den for one last night of rest before our long drive home. The entire process felt personal, thoughtful, and easy. Oliver is sweet, playful, incredibly smart, and eye-catching. Before he even turned 10 weeks old, he’d already mastered “sit,” “down,” “here,” “drop it,” “roll over,” and “bell” (ringing a bell by the door—which I may regret teaching, since it’s become his go-to move for earning extra treats). His red merle coat—marked with white, red, brown, and grey—and bright blue eyes draw constant attention. People have stopped to take his photo, and more than once I’ve been asked for Julie’s contact info just based on how striking and friendly he is. He’s settling in beautifully and brings so much joy.

    Julie was so wonderful to work with. As first-time dog parents, she answered countless questions as we sought our perfect match. Our pup, Basil, is a doxiedoodle from parents Roxie and Jack. When we visited Julie’s home to pick him up, it was clear that all her dogs and puppies were well-loved and taken care of. We adopted Basil at about 12 weeks, and he was heathy and well-socialized. He has the most wonderful temperament too; he is incredibly person-oriented, cuddly and curious, and loves playing with other dogs. Basil knows basic commands and manners because we worked hard to train him from an early age, but if you’re considering a doxie/doxiedoodle you should know that it’s absolutely true that they can be a little stubborn. For us, that means Basil requires a bit more repetition and reinforcement of his training compared to a working breed like an Aussie. All that being said, he is well-behaved and incredibly sweet. I can’t speak highly enough of Julie and our Good Dog experience. Basil means the world to my husband and me, and we have Julie to thank for bringing us together!

    I had such a great experience with Julie and Bline’s Awesome Aussies. I fell in love with a cute blue eyed pup called Hank after watching a video on her website where he looked so happy and loving. I had lost my beloved black lab of 14 years a few months prior and this puppy melted my heart. While Hank was scooped up by another family, I had the chance to pick a puppy from the next litter. We chose the brown tri girl. We had so much fun watching her develop in the videos and photos we were sent. Julie was so patient and very responsive with my million and one questions. There are also so many great resources on her website that I used to prepare for my little Keeva’s arrival from training books to Amazon supply lists. It was so great that everyone at Bline’s started using Keeva’s name even before we met her in person! On our pick up day we got to meet 3 other pups from her litter and I thought my heart would burst! She was beautiful, happy, playful, and outgoing. And even more importantly healthy and strong. Julie not only cares for these puppies’ medical needs she gives them individual affection and lots of early socialization which is so vital to a good temperament. My interactions as far as messaging and payments went so smoothly through Good Dog. It was very easy to navigate. We love our Keeva so much. She has been a joy since day one.
