I'm the breeder behind Blu Skye Cavaliers located in Reading, PA. Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies.

Why did you start breeding?
11 years ago I decided I was going to purchase my dream dog, a tri colored Cavalier. I looked breeders up on the AKC website and Vicki’s name popped up. Our kids grew up together and we were very close friends but we lost contact. When I saw her name I just knew it was meant to be. I contacted her and in two weeks I was fostering 3 females. After the first litter I continued to breed with Vicki who had been breeding for many years. We then became partners and continued breeding.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised in our homes. They are very well socialized and are treated like part of the family. We have a healthy line of females that we get tested for heart and eyes yearly by board certified specialist. We work closely with the families that are interested in our puppies.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Susan
Susan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes health certificate, first set of shots, deworming, and socialization. All of our puppies come with first set of shots, health certificate. Puppies are socialized and hand raised. Parents are tested for heart and eye by board certified specialists. Parents are health tested prior to breeding.”
Contract & health guarantee
Susan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
