I'm Jeannene H., the breeder behind Blue House Bostons located in San Marcos, TX. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! Our hope is to prepare each of our puppies with thoughtful socialization so they have the best foundation to seamlessly transition into their new homes.

Why did you start breeding?
In May of 2020 our 4 year old Boston female Lucy died in a tragic accident. A week later I have a heart attach, takotsubo cardiomyopathy, aka broken heart syndrome. After a while I started looking for another Boston and landed on a wait list. In the mean time I found a blue male Boston Terrier from another breeder. My husband suggested we start breeding, so we got both dogs and did just that.What makes your program special?
Our love of the breed has influenced our breeding program. We started with a blue male and a red female, both non-standard colors for Bostons. We are now transitioning to Black and White's because we are seeing less opportunities for owners to find Black and White Boston's in our area.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Jeannene
Jeannene has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Jeannene partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“We spend time with the puppies interacting with them and observing them in a variety of situations. We will then have a conversation either in person or video chat to get to know the family interested in one of our puppies. We will make recommendations/matches based on the puppies personality and the future families. ”

“The price includes first vet visit, first round of vaccinations, wormed, AKC registration, and our guarantee. A non-refundable deposit secures that you will receive an AKC registered puppy from Blue House Bostons.”

About Lily
Lily is a smaller sized Boston Terrier. She is black/white with some flecks of brindle. Her ears have never stood up completely like most other BTs. She is shy and pulls away from strangers, but loves to snuggle in a familiar lap. Even as the smallest in our pack she out runs everyone else. Lily is creative and can be crafty when there is something she wants. She is a wonderful mother with no pregnancy issues, more than enough high quality milk, and she tends to them with frequent baths.

About Levi
Levi is a dark blue Boston Terrier. He is the sweetest boy and loves everyone...and his toys. Minds well, loves his crate and his time away from the other dogs, but plays well especially with younger/smaller dogs and puppies. He will lick your face the first chance he gets.
