I'm Lauren S., the breeder behind Blue Sage Aussies located in Syracuse, UT. My dogs enjoy everything from camping and hiking to dock diving and scent tracking! Stay tuned as I venture into the show ring as well!

Q. & A. with Lauren

  • Why did you start breeding?

I want to do my part as a responsible breeder to improve the breed and spread the love of an Australian Shepherd to others! My main focus is to produce puppies with exceptional health and temperament, but I also want to raise puppies that can go into service work AND thrive as family companions.
  • What makes your program special?

Blue Sage Aussies are dedicated to only breeding dogs that we know are excellent representations of the standard and will make a positive contribution to their line and to the families who love them. As a breeder, I'm a steward of the future of the breed, so I am careful to always maintain ethical breeding practices. This includes proper health testing, intentional breeding for specific traits, and raising my puppies with proper socialization. I would be thrilled to introduce you to your next beloved puppy!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
