Getting a puppy from Stefan & Jetta

Stefan & Jetta has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Stefan & Jetta partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), GM1 Gangliosidosis (GLB1), Shiba Inu Type, Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I can't thak Stefan & Jetta enough for giving my girl Goose (formerly Nari) a great head start in puppyhood! She came home at 10.5 weeks very comfortable in a cat household (which was super important to me) since they expose her to kitties while growing up. She was potty trained and crate trained for the most part. While puppyhood is HARD, I do believe I was set up for success by BonsaiShibas!

    We are over the moon to have welcomed little Aiko to our family 8 weeks ago. It is still difficult to believe that she is a Shiba. We had to toss everything we know about the breed from her brother Kaito, and start fresh. Aiko is a whirlwind, social butterfly when she is out exploring, very vocal, and a total snuggle bug. Thankfully she is also food motivated, making training easy. Jetta made sure that we knew what we signed up for; Aiko takes after mum and is ‘spicy’. We loved the puppy spam while Aiko and her litter mates explored the world. If we had any questions, we would have a prompt response. The interaction with Jetta made us feel at ease every step of the way. I would recommend Stefan & Jetta to anyone looking to add a little potato to their life.

    Decided Bonsai Shibas would be the breeder of our next Shiba well before Kota’s litter was born. Watching the Instagram videos made it clear how well cared for and loved they are. Photos, videos, and transparent communication throughout the process. Exceptional in every way. We were amazed Kota came with an amazing foundation. Basic potty training, tolerant of baths and nail trims (IYKYK with Shibas), using stairs/steps. But what has been the best revelation is how much of a gentle, sweet soul he is. He is just the sweetest Shiba and believe it is due to the environment he was raised in. Cannot recommend Bonsai Shibas enough. If we decide to get a shibling for Kota, will not hesitate to get another Shiba from Jetta and Stefan.

    We cannot recommend Jetta highly enough! Her level of care, communication, and transparency won us over right away and she has been with us through every step over the last 6 months. Before we brought Noodles home, Jetta worked with us to ensure that he would be a good fit for our home. From day 1, she kept us connected with frequent updates and tons of pictures and videos. It felt like we truly got to watch him grow through his potato phase 🥔😻 Noodles is healthy, energetic, affectionate, and smart! He is amazing and it's clear how much care and attention Jetta puts into raising her pups. We look forward to working with her again!
