Meet the breeder

I'm Kim T., the breeder behind Border Collies of Ruidoso located in Mckinney, TX. As a responsible breeder, we are proud of the loving, intelligent, beautiful, and healthy puppies we can provide for others. We love Border Collies and are happy to be a part of sharing the breed with others. Our breeding program started with one beautiful Border Collie that became a fulfilling, lifelong passion! Here at Ruidoso, our puppies are raised indoors and are well-loved to ensure the puppy is happy and healthy. Our puppies are vet-checked before we let them go to ensure optimal health. We believe there's no greater joy than raising puppies for families that provide companions who share unconditional love.

From the moment we came across Kim’s page and saw the love, care, and passion she puts into breeding and raising her puppies we knew she was the right breeder for us. Leo (FKA Mango) is the sweetest boy. He has a great temperament. He is healthy and thriving and a lot of that is thanks to the care and intentionality Kim puts into breeding. Leo is an amazing addition to our family and we will be forever grateful to Kim and her team. Thanks again! -N&A

Kim was amazing, She was extremely helpful and caring. We were very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her. She opened her home to us and allowed us to visit and spend time with our little new baby, (Ed) Jasper was 4 weeks old when we met him and Kim welcomed us into her home to visit and get to know Jasper and get acquainted with him. He husband and family were all very welcoming. Kim was awesome to work with,I would most definitely recommended to other. Thank you Kim for making this journey in our lives very pleasant.

Adopting Venus from Kim was a great experience. She exposed Venus to a lot of different experiences (ie. Car rides, cats, being held, ect). I can see that Venus is not afraid of new things and I believe Kim is part of the reason why.

We lost our 5 year old border collie unexpectedly to cancer. We love the breed. We came across Kim and her dogs and saw how well she cared for them. We decided we had to have two. We are absolutely in love with our two dogs. Kim was very responsive and happy to answer questions anytime. Our vet was very impressed with the service she provided as well. Her dogs are soo adorable and we love their little personalities. Thank you for our two little additions to our family. We are soo in love.

Kim was really responsive and helpful with getting connected to our pup Remy (litter name was bubbles). She even traveled with her daughter to personally deliver Remy to us. FaceTimed me to show me their interactions with Remy, their home situation and how she was being raised. You can tell they give lots of love and attention to their puppies.

Kim was fantastically easy to work with. We had interest in Justin, she was quick to respond and even spent time with us on FaceTime. We immediately said we wanted him! We scheduled a time with her just after the holidays and flew from WI to TX where we were greeted with a huge smile and a pack of healthy and extremely friendly border collies. Justin (now Tej) is extremely smart, and cuddly. I recommend Kim and her puppies to anyone. We love our little man and can’t wait to share some pictures of this texas dog diving deep into the Wisconsin snow!
