Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Boston’s With a Splash & Sapphire’s Royal Danes located in Temple, TX. We raise our dogs in our home because they are family. We breed for excellence, health and temperament. We start training at Birth to give our pups the best start and to help them succeed in all aspects after they go to be homes. We love being able to match our puppies with families that are the perfect fit for their personalities and to get pupdates as they grow!

Q. & A. with Jaclyn

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have a deep love of Bostons and Danes and when I see all the poor and improper breeding that is destroying these breeds, it’s heartbreaking. I wanted to do something to help preserve and better the quality of the breed while providing others with the chance to learn about and love the breed as I do. My daughter is excited to get into the ring to show the breeds as well!
  • What makes your program special?

We make sure to genetic test each of our pups as soon as we bring them home and we health check them several times throughout their life before we are sure they are fit to breed. We raise all of our dogs in the home with us and they live happy lives being loved on daily. We incorporated Puppy Culture to make sure our pups are well rounded and mentally ready to be a great confident pup and dog in their new homes!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Boston Terrier puppies include red, lilac, blue, and black and white. Great Dane puppies include silver, chocolate, blue, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
