I'm Kerry F., the breeder behind Briar oak farm located in Egg Harbor Twp, NJ. We decided to start breeding to share the best possible puppies with excellent personalities, temperament, and most of all health! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
I bought my first Boston 12 years ago. And just fell in love with the breed after owning quite a few different other breeds of dogs. I just kind of fell into breeding them when I purchased my second. I currently have seven, A couple are ones that I bred and kept and are pets, One is retired from breeding, and I currently have two females and a male for breedingWhat makes your program special?
Disposition is a must for me. I have two grandchildren that handle the puppies and are around all of my dogs. Obviously confirmation is right up there next to disposition. I purchased some of my dogs from breeders who I was confident In their established programs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black brindle and white and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Briar oak farm reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Boston Terriers.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
