I'm Savanah B., the breeder behind Bridges Border Collies located in Kountze, TX.
Q. & A. with Savanah
Why did you start breeding?
Every since I was a young girl I always wanted a Border Collie. As seen on movies and commercials I was in awe with their beautiful coats and with their reputation of being the smartest dogs who couldn’t resist wanting one. Finally I was gifted my first Border Collie and knew right away I couldn’t live without one. Now years later I have found a passion of raising Border Collie Puppies.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs have the drive to go work livestock and have the gentle nature that makes them great around our children and family. Our pups are loved from the second they are born. We socialize them so they can have success in different family settings. We take pride in raising healthy life long best friends.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, blue merle, red merle, brindle, white and red, and white ticked. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

I'm so happy I adopted through Savanah. I adopted a pup named Doc who I renamed to Bandit and that was the best choice I've ever made. He's a lover, a player, a stinker, and my world. Bandit is the smartest dog I've ever met and I'm so glad to be able to call him my pup. I potty trained him in roughly a week and a half and he learned his name the first day I started calling him Bandit. I train him something new everyday and he knows commands as simple as sit all the way to barking on command (plus many more advanced ones and he only just reached 3 months a few days ago) He loves all people, all animals and the world in general. Savanah made this adoption whole process so easy. She is very good with communication and very accommodating. If I ever had a question I knew that she would be there to answer. When I first got into contact with her she video called me so I could meet my little man and I knew right then and there that this was all going to work out. I was a bit skeptical at first of this whole thing because I had never even heard of GoodDog so I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Turns out I got myself into the best decision ever. Bandit is my first ever dog on my own (I grew up in a household with many many dogs) and though puppy hood can be hard it's all worth it. All I really need to do is there's any bad puppy behavior is train him just a tiny bit and he instantly figures it out and doesn't do anything bad. Savanah drove far to meet up with my husband and I. She gave us a doggy goddie bag with various supplies needed such as a toy that he still loves to this day. I still send her photos here and there to update her and show her how well he is doing and she's so considerate with everything. I drove over 15 hours in one day to get a few hours away from where I was going to meet her. Slept at a rest stop for a couple hours then drove a few more hours to get him. Once we got him we drove straight back home. We drove roughly maybe 38 hours in two days back to back and I would do it all over again. I HIGHLY recommend going through Savanah. Bandit was given to me perfectly healthy and happy. You can tell she takes the best care of her pups. Make sure you consider going through Savanah for your next border collie :)

Savanah is absolutely incredible, she helped me figure out the best way to get our puppy home for us, gave us many options and kept in touch with us for two and a half months with pictures and updates at least once a week! Our puppy Atlas is extremely intelligent at only 8 weeks and is very well behaved, so much fun to play with and be around, loves the car, toys, isn’t really scared of loud noises and has already learned his name, come, sit and crate. Puppy life is difficult but I think it is definitely so much easier when you have a breeder like Savanah. Our pup barely cried through the night thanks to her!!

This was my first time to meet Breeders on line and buy a Puppy
My first interest was a Border Collie named Galaxy, I was drawn in to his blue eyes and and the fact he was a Blue Merle, not knowing how good dog and Bridges Border Collies would handle me I moved forward to see how it all worked and could i get comfortable and make a deal. After a quick dive in to good dog I found them to be reputable and their mission statement seemed to be that they protected reputable dog breeders. I then reached out to Savanna at Bridges Border Collies who took me through the process that ended with taking my dog home. I can’t say enough about her integrity and willingness to walk me through the process to get me comfortable and knowledgeable to proceed. There were no surprises just the truth, our journey has begun and i am so thankful that Savanna is available to help us if the need arises. Bridges Border Collies is a first class operation, I would highly recommend Savanna as a first stop for anyone considering owning a border collie Regards Don B and Suka🇺🇸
