Brighton Rose Cavalier

Elizabeth K.

Breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels

Meet the breeder

I'm Elizabeth K., the breeder behind Brighton Rose Cavalier located in Menifee, CA. I have been showing and breeding show-quality dogs for 40 years on a limited basis. Previous to Cavaliers I was involved in Irish Setters and Golden Retrievers. I do not breed as a business but rather to preserve and improve with carefully selected dogs for health, temperament and structure.

Q. & A. with Elizabeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

I regularly participate in conformation shows and started breeding to continue and improve on my line with Irish Setters in the 80's. I dabbled in Golden Retrievers for a while and then took a break after the death of my husband. I don't breed very often because I want to make sure I am able to contribute my best efforts to each and every litter.
  • What makes your program special?

I am a proud owner and breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and am so excited to share my love of them with the world. My involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I have been blessed to be mentored by the very best in all three breeds that I have been involved in.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are blenheim. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
