I'm Marissa F., the breeder behind Broken Roots Rottweilers located in Wabash, IN. I got my first rottie 8 years ago and by the time she was 14 months old she had several health issues and multiple surgeries. It is my passion to produce quality puppies to add to families at a price that is reasonable for the amount of health testing and time that I have put into our pups!

My husband and I are the proud owners of 8-week-old Rocko (previously known as Jack/orange), and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. My rescue, Koda, faced numerous health issues in her first two years. After watching my baby girl endure surgeries and long recovery periods, we were especially selective when it came to adding a new member to our family. From the first time Marissa and I spoke, I knew she was the kind of person you can put your faith in. Marissa is deeply invested in her mission to provide quality dogs to quality families. She is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, always readily available to answer any and all questions we’ve had along the way. Her dedication and love for what she does are evident in every interaction—and most of all, in her dogs. The care and effort she pours into her program are clearly reflected in the health, temperament, and overall well-being of every pup. Rocko is the perfect addition to our pack, and we’re so grateful to have found such a loving and dedicated breeder. We can’t recommend Broken Roots enough!

We recently welcomed our Rottweiler puppy, Jax, from Broken Roots Breeder—and the entire experience was exceptional. From the very first conversation, Marrisa made us feel like part of the family. The process was warm, professional, and completely stress-free. Jax arrived incredibly well-adjusted—both socially and behaviorally—which speaks volumes about the care and love Marrisa and her whole family invest in each puppy. Her husband and children are hands-on in providing early socialization, and it truly shows. Marrisa exemplifies what it means to be an ethical, knowledgeable, and passionate breeder. She has a remarkable ability to understand each pup and perfectly match them with the right family. We couldn’t be more grateful for Jax—and for Marrisa.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
