  • Why did you start breeding?

    My best friend has raised mini dachshunds for 27 yrs. I fell instantly in love with them! As I educated myself about the breed, along with my friend, I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do ❤

  • What makes your program special?

    The love, care, attention, & dedication you get from one of my babies will shine through. You will be able to see the hard work that was put in to assure a happy, & healthy baby❤

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, chocolate, chocolate and cream, black and cream, fawn (isabella) and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tammy

Tammy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 deposit and between $800 - $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All my babies are AKC long hair Miniature Dachshunds. They come vet checked, utd on shots, dewormed & gift bag. They run between $1,000-$2,800 depending on gender, colors, & limited or full rights. I ask for a $200 nonrefundable but transferable deposit. If anything should happen on my end the deposit will be refunded.”

Contract & health guarantee

Tammy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I found Tammy on Good Dog, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her dachshunds. From the very first interaction, she was so kind and attentive, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. I’ve met a lot of dachshunds over the years, but hers are truly something special—by far the most well-behaved I’ve ever encountered. I’ll admit, I was nervous about the possibility of ending up with a yappy dog (despite my heavy research on the breed), but our little guy has completely shattered every stereotype. He was shy when I first brought him home, taking a couple of weeks to really come out of his shell, but once he did, his sweet personality truly blossomed. He bonded beautifully with our older golden retriever, Maezie, and, to my surprise and delight, loves playing with our cat. If you’re considering getting a dachshund, I couldn’t recommend Tammy’s babies enough. We feel so lucky to have found her, and honestly, I can’t imagine going anywhere else in the future. Our boy has brought so much joy into our lives, and we’re forever grateful!
