Meet the breeder

I'm Kareena M., the breeder behind Bull Shoals Bostons located in Lead Hill, AR. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

Q. & A. with Kareena

  • Why did you start breeding?

We got our very first Boston Terrier back in 2013.Roscoe was our baby, our child before we had human children. We try to seize every bit of quality time that we're able in this busy world, so even after we had our first daughter, Roscoe went everywhere with us. We absolutely fell in love with the breed, and Bostons are kinda like potato chips - you can't have just one! 😉 Along comes 2018 and the beginning of our fertility troubles.. Trying to ease our pain, we got our second Boston, Lucy. She was the absolute perfect addition to our family, just what the doctor ordered. That little girl helped heal me in ways that I cannot describe. (Along with God, my husband, and our amazing support system, of course) After much research, education, and mentoring we began breeding. Over the years, God has blessed us with two more daughters, a few more Bostons, and an ever-growing fur-family! This program is not just "work" or a "hobby" - this is my PASSION. It is fuel by faith, honesty, never-ending education, and love for the breed. We currently have 5 Boston Terriers, and they are far more than just breeding dogs. They are our companions, our family, our ride-or-die's, our best friends. Literally, family members that go to events, reunions, races, even on hikes, trail rides, four wheeler rides, and floating the Buffalo River with us. They all love a good lake day and they even have play dates every once in awhile! ❤️ I strive to bring families healthy, well-tempered, confident, stunning companions.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include lilac, seal brindle and white, brindle and white, black brindle and white, and seal and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Kareena was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was always responsive to our questions and provided lots of updates and videos on our little Charley’s progress. She was also gracious and worked with our schedule on picking up our newest family member. I’m a lifelong Bostie owner, and I can attest that this girl has one of the best temperaments and personalities of any that I have raised and her colors and markings are really unique! I definitely recommend giving Kareena a call if you’re looking for your new best friend!
