I'm Heather B., the breeder behind Burgett’s Barnyard Dachshunds located in Rattan, OK. We love the Lord and strive to please Him in all that we do. Including raising our dachshunds. :) We have a barnyard of animals and love every one of them. :).

  • Why did you start breeding?

    A friend gave my daughter her first dachshund and we fell in love with them.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs live at The Burgett’s Barnyard and get lots of room to run and lots of interaction with other animals.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, chocolate, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Heather

Heather has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Heather partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Price is for PET only. Full Breeding Rights may be discussed. An additional $500 will be added to the total cost if Full Breeding Rights is agreed upon. :). Deposits are nonrefundable unless something happens to the puppy on my end. :).”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
