I'm Mona B., the breeder behind Burke BC’s located in Wills Point, TX. At Burke BC’s, we offer top quality Border Collie puppies to loving and caring homes. Our dogs live in our home and are loved members of our family. Sire and Dam are both health tested and have OFA’s. They are medium-high drive with phenomenal off switch. We encourage video calls during development.

Why did you start breeding?
In the beginning, I was uneducated of the requirements of being a responsible breeder and thought it would be joyful to have puppies. To be honest, it was extremely joyful. However, I took to the web to learn as much as I can. In doing so, I’ve developed a desire to help better our breed.What makes your program special?
We stand firm on “just because we can breed doesn’t mean we should breed”. Before a breeding is considered, we health test, OFA, evaluate for temperament and structure and then determine how we believe this pair will better our breed. In addition, because the health of our babies is a top priority, I am now a Trupanion member. This means 30 days of health insurance for each puppy starting the day you take home your puppy at no charge/risk to the new family. The only requirement, you must activate the plan.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle, sable, and sable merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“All of our puppies are the same price. They will be ABCA and/or AKC registered, age appropriate deworming, vaccinated, and microchipped. A non refundable, but transferable, deposit is required.”

Hip Dysplasia

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
