I'm Linda W., the breeder behind C R Purdy Labs located in Humansville, MO. We offer top-quality Labrador Retriever puppies from titled, health-tested parents. All of our breeding dogs come from excellent field or show lines. Our goal is to produce healthy, well-rounded dogs that can excel as hunting companions and as loving family pets. Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with the Labrador Retriever breed. Our dogs have proven to be incredible, loving companions, as well as being skilled in the field. This breed is also amazing for families and children, and we enjoy providing people with well-bred dogs that they will enrich their lives.What makes your program special?
We focus on breeding dogs that have enough working drive to keep up with our lifestyle, but also have amazing temperaments and can quickly adapt to a calm family setting. We are also passionate about giving back, and we are proud to assist Retrievers for Warriors in providing loving companions for our country's veterans.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Linda

"The price includes excellent pedigree, clearances on sire dam, deworming, up to date shots, socialization as much as is possible for our situation, vet checked and health certificate,folder with akc paper application, litter certificate, bag of proplan puppy food, collar. There will be a $200 rehoming fee if you return pup. Please call with specific payment arrangements."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
