I'm Elizabeth C., the breeder behind Caldwell’s Corgis of Southern California located in Barstow, CA. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up with my mother breeding German shepherds. As a child, I volunteered to vet, offices and animal shelters. As a teenager, I worked at a local pet store chain and saw the horrors of puppies that were raised in puppy mills, and it pushed me to learn more about ethical practices, and I fell in love with the breed of corgis and here we are!

  • What makes your program special?

    We are a family owned Kennel with my sister and mother assisting and all the breeding so somebody is home with these babies at all times! We go above and beyond creating a positive environment for these babies to grow up and and have plenty of enrichment with sounds, cats, dogs, people of all ages, etc. We take a very serious approach to the welfare of all of our puppies.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include fawn, red, and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

At only 9 weeks old, her potty training has already been phenomenal — only three accidents in the first 24 hours, and honestly, those were because I didn’t get her outside quickly enough.
