Meet the breeder

I'm Cynthia B., the breeder behind North Carolina/California Maltese, Yorkies & Morkies located in Jamestown, NC. Our Yorkie & Maltese dams are 5-7 lbs., and sires 3-5 lbs. Not all dogs are registered. They're vaccinated, dewormed, vet-checked, have had their dewclaws removed, Yorkie tails docked, and are microchipped, with a 1-year health agreement. We don't guarantee weight, potty training, barking, color change, or show quality.

Q. & A. with Cynthia

  • Why did you start breeding?

My daughter had chronic asthma as a child growing up. After much research, I took her at age 5 to pick out her Maltese. Once we had Cody, our gorgeous male, our love for our special Maltese grew. Breeding HEALTHY, LOVING, VERY WELL TAKEN CARED OF, QUALITY MALTESE/YORKIES/MORKIES.
  • What makes your program special?

I take pride in our breeding program. As a responsible breeder, I ensure the best quality care for ALL our puppies. We give them up to date vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and vet checked. Potty training is started on pee pads. We provide a quality, loving environment 24/7.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Maltese puppies are white. Morkie puppies include chocolate, black, black & tan tri-color, white and tan, and white. Yorkshire Terrier puppies include chocolate and tan, chocolate, tan and white, parti, blue and gold, black and tan, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We had a great experience getting our teacup chocolate Yorkie from Cynthia! Communication through the app was about an 8/10 — Cynthia is a very busy lady, so sometimes it took a little time to hear back, but she always did respond and was helpful throughout the process. We drove out to California to pick up our little Gemma girl, and she was even more adorable in person than in the photos. So tiny, so gentle, and incredibly sweet. She has been an absolute dream to train — very smart, eager to please, and full of personality. She gets along wonderfully with our other dogs and has brought so much love into our home. We are so happy with our puppy and grateful for the experience. 💕🐾

We got our Yorkie, Cleo, from Cynthia of California AKC Maltese & Yorkies. We absolutely adore Cleo. She's very high energy which is very different personality than our previous Yorkies. Cleo is very playful and loves all of her chew toys. Our dealings and communication with Cynthia and Good Dog were very successful, and I would use them again.
