At Canyon Rose Schnauzers, we thoughtfully raise Miniature Schnauzers with love, purpose, and a commitment to health, temperament, and socialization.   • Why did you start breeding?

    A few years ago, a friend introduced me to Minature Schnauzers- that was just the beginning of my deep love for the breed! My dogs have such unique personalities, there is no way to have just one!

  • What makes your program special?

    I breed dogs for the love of the dog! I fell in love with schnauzers and love to share the breed with others.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Miniature Schnauzer puppies include wheaten, white, parti, liver, black, salt and pepper, and black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Michelle

Michelle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Michelle partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $400 - $900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Each Canyon Rose puppy goes home with a health guarantee, complete vet records, vaccinations, wormings, toys, treats, collar, leash, and a puppy food sample. To reserve a puppy, place your non-refundable deposit. The deposit will be applied to the final cost of the puppy.”

Michelle may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

    Michelle was great to work with. Very responsive and informative. You can tell she’s cares for her dogs. She met us 1/2 way to deliver him . His name is Eddie. I was unexpectedly widowed this year and thought long and hard about getting a pup. Did a lot of research on the miniature schnauzer and decided to go for it. Best decision I’ve made.
