I'm Charlie B., the breeder behind Carolina Aussies located in Whitmire, SC. My girls and I run a small breeding program that allows us to give each of our dogs the proper care and attention they deserve. We are dedicated to providing happy, healthy, and well-socialized pups for others to welcome into their family. We love our pups and know you will love them, too!
Q. & A. with Charlie
Why did you start breeding?
We got our first Aussie (Lola) for my youngest daughter in 2017 and fell in love with her. I decided to get a male for my other daughter and then I had to have one also. We experienced the love and healing these dogs carry and came up on the opportunity to breed for additional income. We since have grown to 4 females and "Z" , our stud dog. It's fulfilling to place these beautiful, smart puppies with the right families and share the joy of these great family dogs.
What makes your program special?
When we got our first dog we were going through some hard times as a family. Lola quickly bonded with my then 9-year-old and became amazing emotional support for her. We then decided we wanted to breed in order to provide each of us with our own dog and to establish our own program. I specifically search for pairs that will produce puppies with sound conformation, health, and temperament. I want them to be the greatest family companions and have the ability to serve as emotional support animals if desired.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
