Meet the breeder

I'm Audrey C., the breeder behind Carter’s Dachshunds located in Hulbert, OK. Welcome to our Good Dog profile! We are a small family breeder who loves raising Miniature Dachshunds. Our puppies are raised in our home with lots of love, attention, and care to help them become healthy, happy companions for their forever families.

Q. & A. with Audrey

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love for Miniature Dachshunds started with my parents and their program, Cooper’s Dachshunds. For the past six years, I’ve been lucky to be a part of their journey, learning the love, time, and care that goes into raising each puppy. Being around these dogs has made this breed so special to me and inspired Gabe and I to start this journey of our own.
  • What makes your program special?

Each puppy is raised with lots of love, attention, and care from the day they are born. We put time into getting to know each puppy’s personality, helping them grow into happy and confident companions. We love staying connected with our puppy families and watching our puppies bring joy to their new homes.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
