Destiny C.

Breeder of Border Collies

Meet the breeder

I'm Destiny C., the breeder behind Cates Border Collies located in Grapevine, TX. I raise honest, solid, healthy, well-rounded, intelligent, loving, athletic, medium-high drive dogs who will thrive and excel in all adventurous activities and lifestyles, sports and more! I am extremely passionate about these dogs and I’m careful to breed and raise puppies with the best policies!

Q. & A. with Destiny

  • Why did you start breeding?

It all started when I got my first border collie, T-Rex! When I got T-Rex I fell absolutely in love with the breed and all that they offer! They are super active, intelligent, agile, and are a very versatile breed! After a few years I decided that I wanted to provide other families with border collies just like T-Rex who could double as both their family best friend and competitive sport partner!
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is special because I am extremely passionate about providing active families not only with healthy, happy, sound active pets that are ready for their next adventure, but also as their competitive sporting partner! I also do activities with my puppies such as Puppy Culture, Volhard Testing, Vaccinations, Dewormings, and more! I also share it all on social media platforms!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include tri-color, blue merle, black, brindle, and white and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
