Q. & A. with Hope

  • Why did you start breeding?

Hi, my name is Hope Guthrie Futral, a “Georgia peach” with a passion for raising healthy and stunning Cavaliers. We breed for health, temperament, and conformation. We have GCH and European imported lines as well as OFA and DNA testing on all breeding dogs. I would love to help provide the perfect puppy for you and your family. I look forward to hearing from you!
  • What makes your program special?

I consider our program to be special because of the relationships we maintain with our customers and for always being upfront and honest with all of our potential families. Breeding isn’t just a job, or a side income for me….it is about loving my dogs, my puppies, and having the opportunity to bring so much joy to peoples lives by providing them with a little best friend!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Our experience with Good Dog was very positive. We were most impressed with Hope’s breeding philosophy and process throughout the entire time, from looking at many puppies, Hope’s and others, their parents pedigrees, the testing done on the litter and finally choosing Hope as our breeder of choice.
