Q. & A. with Elizabeth
Why did you start breeding?
My sister and mom started breeding dachshunds in 2016, and I got into it with my male dachshund as a stud. I have a Cavalier, and she is 11. It felt like it was time to get another one, so I dove into the breeding aspect, Including Health and DNA testing. We wanted to make sure that we not only got the best dog, but we would also provide dogs with great health and DNA.
What makes your program special?
We are one of a small group of breeders in Colorado to offer King Charles spaniels. However, we also offer chocolates. I have not found anywhere else near us to have chocolate coats. We also expose our puppies to children, farm animals, cats, and other humans to get the best companionship.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Dachshund puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, black and white, black and tan, and chocolate. Dachshund puppies include piebald, red, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
