I'm Darla W., the breeder behind Cavalier King Charles Heartland located in Broken Arrow, OK. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our puppies become integral members of our family. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Years ago I bred Miniature Schnauzers as a hobby breeder only having 3 litters. When my cousin began breeding Cavalier King Charles, I helped her run her Facebook site to find loving homes for her babies. I adore Cavalier King Charles for their temperament, beauty and big hearts. They are by far the best breed I have ever had.

  • What makes your program special?

    We socialize our puppies from birth. They get lots of attention not only from their paw parents but from their human ones as well. We do Early Neurological Stimulation training on all of our puppies. This is so important not only for their neurological development but also for the interaction it gives them with their human friends.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tri-color and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Darla

Darla has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Darla partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“AKC registration, wellness check, 1st round of vaccinations, deworming every 2 weeks, ENS training. Deposit is non-refundable unless puppy is deemed unhealthy by our Vet. You may also transfer deposit to another available puppy or to one from a future litter at that point if you desire.”

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We were searching for Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeders. My husband ran across Darla website with all the puppies available. We saw the one we wanted, put down a deposit and converse back-and-forth with Darla, and she was willing to meet us in Kansas City because we came from Minnesota. She sent pictures, updates and answered any questions That we may have had. We felt so blessed to have someone such as Darla. When we did meet in Kansas City, we took pictures in front of the Christmas tree that was in the hotel lobby. We took photos of us with our new baby and with Darla and her. We love our puppy so much, and it’s only because of the communication, the love that Darla has With all of her puppies. And all the photos she sent that helped us during the waiting period before we could get our Bailey. Darla, thank you so much for all that you do for your puppies but for the people who are lucky enough to get the puppies that you help the mamas raise.
