Q. & A. with Jennifer
Why did you start breeding?
When I started breeding I was so amazed by the therapy dog qualities of the cavalier king charles spaniel, and the wonderful impact the dogs had on both my children and my psychotherapy clients that I set out to produce therapy dogs of high quality and excellent health and temperament. I also thought into the future for my boys especially that they might need to have work-from-home skills that I could teach them through our dog breeding program. I could set them up to run their own businesses someday. I also personally get a lot out of the relationships with puppy buyers as all of the joy and delight of helping folks find their special furry companion is deeply personal to me as both a helper and a healer.
What makes your program special?
Experience. 17 years has taught me a lot. I pride myself on being diligent to produce excellent dogs for people deserving of a little companion who will be healing for their hearts, grounding them in the relationship that they have with their pups. and giving so much joy for many years to come. As a psychotherapist I am informed in ways that not many breeders are about what people need and what motivates them and how they will benefit from and relate to their future pup.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
