I'm Christina W., the breeder behind Cavalier Paw Prints located in Statesville, NC. We decided to start breeding to share the best possible puppies with excellent personalities, temperament, and most of all health! Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others.

Why did you start breeding?
My husband use to breed beagles and decided to breed our sweet CKCS Bella.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Christina

About Bella
Bella is a female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel over 7 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Christina decided to make her part of their program. Christina has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
