Meet the breeder

I'm Heather T., the breeder behind Cavi Cutie Collective located in Conroe, TX. Our dogs have been DNA and health tested through Embark. OFA certificates, as applicable. Our puppies are raised at home in a very loving environment!

Q. & A. with Heather

  • Why did you start breeding?

After been injured in a dog attack as a small child, I always thought I'd be afraid of dogs. It wasn't until I met and experienced these breeds that I felt truly loved. We welcomed our first litter in April 2021 and have loved raising our puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a small family-owned and operated business. I devote a large part of every day to keeping the new parents updated with pictures, videos, and vet visits. We also provide a care package upon pick-up that includes a bag of dry food, a bag of treats, and an object with their litter mates scent on it.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Companion Cross puppies are small size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Companion Cross puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, and tri-color. Cocker Spaniel puppies include brown, brown roan, and brown and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Heather was so responsive from the start and sent daily pictures and videos. This meant the world to me and was so incredible to get to see my puppy grow and feel connected to her before bringing her home. I also really appreciated how after I decided on her name they started calling her by it so she already knew it when I picked her up. You can truly tell how much love and care Heather and her family put not only into raising these puppies but caring for their parents as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or better start to life for my Athena baby!

Heather was absolutely wonderful every step of the way! She updated us weekly with our puppy Pixie. Not only did she respond quickly but also she answered any question I had about the breed. How the pups are raised is a big deal to me and let me tell you, every pup in that house is truly loved. I would adopt a Cavi Cuties Collective pup agin in a heartbeat.

Hope this helps! I will send pictures and video soon: I cannot speak highly enough about that wonderful puppy and care we have received from Heather Trexler at Cavi Cutie Collective. I carefully researched what breed of dog that would work best for our home and lifestyle. After settling on a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, the next challenge was choosing the right breeder. I spent weeks researching breeders. I choose Cavi Cutie because of their obvious care in ensuring the highest quality selection and healthcare of their breeding Cavis. I could also tell this was definitely not a puppy mill. The parents live with Heather in her home, and the puppies are part of her family. I was able to see wonderful pictures of the litter of puppies to select "Talbot". He would be 8 weeks and ready to come home in a month. Heather asked what name I had chosen and she started calling him by his name right away. She sent me daily videos of his progress! Her family pitched in playing with the puppies and having fun. I got to see his first weighing, watch his features change as he grew, share his individual personality like grumbling when he played. My husband and I felt that we knew him before he even came home! I chose delivery, and on appointed day Heather brought him to me personally. I had fallen in love with Talbot already in the videos, but in person he has been wonderful. He was healthy and happy, and seemed so pleased to meet us. He has been well socialized, and fit in immediately. If you can't tell, we are extremely pleased!! I will continue to feel comfortable asking questions of Heather and getting recommendations on everything from diet to potty training. We have had a great experience, and I highly recommend Cavi Cutie and Heather. Alison

Heather was so responsive and knowledgeable about the breed. You can tell they really care about their dogs. They stayed in touch and sent me regular updates and videos about my puppy. Heather even flew Hershey up to Seattle for me. Good Dog made the process so easy, from the initial connection with Heather to arranging pick up and paying securely. I'm so glad I found Heather through Good Dog, and I couldn't be happier with Hershey.

We are so in love with our sweet Moose! Heather was so quick to respond with all my questions and really helped with his transition home. He is so gentle and loving with our kids while also being silly and playful. Getting him was the best decision and Heather made it happen for us!

We are so in love with our first cavi, Poppy! I have always dreamed of owning this breed, however this was my first time searching for and buying from a breeder- we have always rescued before this. Our experience could not have been more amazing. I have been in contact with Heather months before our baby was even born, we were first on the waitlist and praying for a Blenheim girl! I brought her home feeling like I already knew her. Heather went above and beyond sending pictures and video updates since the moment she was born and has answered any questions I have ever had immediately. Her whole family does such a great job spending time with them, you can tell they are so so loved! 100/10 experience and know this will not be our last family member from Cavi Cutie Collective. 😊
