I'm Dianne C., the breeder behind C&C Ranch located in Smithfield, UT. We would love to introduce you to our pack! We raise AKC/ASCA Australian Shepherds. We pride ourselves on providing healthy, intelligent dogs with great temperaments.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We wanted to share our love of these amazing animals with others. After raising our first litter I knew this was one of my passions.

  • What makes your program special?

    We raise our dogs indoors and outdoors, puppies are enriched with the Puppy Culture method. We strive to improve these breeds through temperament and genetic testing.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Dianne

Dianne has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Dianne partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We allow families to start choosing at two weeks old. This allows them to know they are bringing home a puppy and can make travel arrangements. Our puppy’s families are all across the U.S.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Reservation fee goes towards the total price of the puppy. Non refundable but transferable to other litters. Pups are the same price regardless of gender or color.”

Contract & health guarantee

Dianne may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Diane has been exceptional to work with! We got our puppy a little later in the process and she has been very responsive and helpful through the whole process! Our gorgeous boy Koda (Billy the kid) has been such a lovely addition to our family❤️ He is well adjusted and so smart and motivated! He was crate trained and almost completely potty trained the first week we got him. He has picked up on training so quickly and he gets long very well with our Golden/Irish Daphne:) He is such a kindred spirit and they are becoming the best of friends! We are so grateful we had the opportunity to adopt Koda and work with Diane! We are so excited for the adventures and memories to come!

    Dianne is dedicated to raising these puppies to be solid, confident dogs. They are resilient and good minded, adapting easily to whatever is thrown at them. Due to bad weather our plane home was forced to land for a long layover until it was safe to land at home. Hachi (Doc Holliday) handled it all like a pro and no one even knew we had a puppy until we took him out. Hachi is already loved by so many people and I can't wait to experience all the wonderful things that are ahead of us.

    Diane was such a joy to work with and I can’t emphasize the love and work she puts into her puppies. She follows the puppy culture method and recommended doing so for when Visi came home and were so glad we did. She is extremely responsive and answered any and all questions we had (which has been a lot) and made the transition to having a puppy in our family that much more seamless. If we ever decide to get another puppy it will definitely be with her!! Thank you again Diane!!

    Dianne has been absolutely fantastic to work with. From taking the deposit, to picking my pup, all the way through handoff and afterwards. She's always quick to respond and thoughtful in her responses. She's detail-oriented, strategic, and always has the dogs' best interests in mind. From a logistics perspective, 10/10. From the perspective of how she treats the puppies, I wish I could give a higher score than 10/10. Jesse James (my puppy) came to me healthy and very confident. He came nearly completely potty trained, and if you create a setup similar to Dianne's (crate + sod + outdoors) you will be well on your way to having the foundation for a great dog. I can't say enough positive things about her or my puppy. The rest is on me, and it's something I don't take lightly. I will try every day to love Jesse as much as she did at the ranch.

    Dianne was very responsive when it came to questions about the puppy and was super helpful in sharing her knowledge with us. You can tell that she really cares for the dogs and keeps them on a good schedule until they find their forever homes. In our experience, our puppy came to us already really well-behaved when it comes to potty training and simple commands. We really appreciated her quick communication and regular updates on the puppy as well! It was really fun to follow their progress on the Facebook page!
