I'm Dominique W., the breeder behind CedarBluff Rottweilers located in Uniontown, AL. I’m a code of ethic breeder. I’ve crafted my own line. I’m 7 generations in. I started competing in the schutzhund sport (obedience competition) to prove the quality of our dogs. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. When we got our first dog, we were instantly in love. Since then, we’ve made it our mission to bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families!

Why did you start breeding?
I was born with the passion for this breed. My parents couldn’t afford me a puppy so I would always take strays that resembled the markings of a rottweiler. When I saved up enough money to purchase my own I soon found out that saving the money was easier than finding the right dog that displayed the true essence of the rottweiler. I discovered that many people who were breeding wasn’t breeding to the original standards. I decided to take on the responsibility of doing my part to preserve the breed.What makes your program special?
Each breeding is carefully selected and is often planned years in advance. I’ve studied recessive traits, gene pools, and pedigrees for years ensuring that I only produce the best of quality that one could imagine owning.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Juvenile Laryngeal Paralysis & Polyneuropathy (JLPP)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
