


I'm Debi C., the breeder behind CedarWoods Aussies located in Wright City, MO. We breed beautiful champion annd performance champion Australian Shepherds in all the colors: blue Merle, red Merle, black tri, red tri, red bi, and black bi. We focus on health, temperament, intelligence, athleticism, and loving personalities. We are dedicated to providing wonderful, versatile companions. We are an AKC and ASCA HOF kennel and AKC breeder of merit. Our Aussies are within the standard, with females weighing 30-40 lbs and males from 40-50 lbs. We have many Aussies who are ranked in the top ten for agility, obedience and rally as well as families and individuals who return to get their next family member from us again. We love all our puppies and their forever families!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Australian Shepherd Type, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
