Q. & A. with Jonna
Why did you start breeding?
My mom got our first bichon when I was growing up, and he was my buddy!
When I had children and decided to get a dog, OF COURSE it was a bichon! And we loved her so much that we decided to try our hand at breeding.
When we started, we had only AKC standards to go by. Now we have genetic testing to help us narrow down the best parents.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is superior due to our commitment. In short, we raise each puppy as if we were keeping them. They're born in my bedroom and later moved to the family room. We start house breaking.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
