Chappell Breeding

Jessica C.

Breeder of Border Collies

Meet the breeder

I'm Jessica C., the breeder behind Chappell Breeding located in Centerton, AR. We love border collies! My husband, Jordan, grew up with them and I fell in love with the breed very quickly when we started dating & into marriage. They are so smart, obedient and amazing with children. We have 5 children and they love that we have border collies and the dogs love our children!

Q. & A. with Jessica

  • Why did you start breeding?

We decided to breed mainly because our BCs were so great with our first 2 children and our friends loved them so much. It was an easy decision. Now that our boys are a little older they get to help care for our dogs. It has been such a great tool for teaching responsibility and business in a fun way.
  • What makes your program special?

The temperament of the pups we have had has been amazing. We get lots of great reports of our puppies adjusting so well with their new families. This is not by accident. Obviously nature takes a huge roll in this but we nurture this from the get go. We start socializing immediately with friends coming over to play. Then we do park play dates, frequent car rides, and lots of exploration adventures!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red merle and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
