I'm Rain K., the breeder behind Chasing Rainbows Yorkies located in San Diego, CA. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. We do our best to breed with total care by primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, and loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we’re positive our puppies will become perfect family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Pomeranian puppies include black, cream sable, and black and tan. Yorkshire Terrier puppies include chocolate, tan and white, chocolate and tan, parti, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Rain
Rain has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Rain may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Sunshine is a female Yorkshire Terrier over 4 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Rain decided to make her part of their program. Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
