I'm Rain K., the breeder behind Chasing Rainbows Yorkies located in San Diego, CA. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. We do our best to breed with total care by primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, and loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we’re positive our puppies will become perfect family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Yorkshire Terrier puppies include chocolate, tan and white, chocolate and tan, parti, and black and tan. Pomeranian puppies include black, cream sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

About Sunshine
Sunshine is a female Yorkshire Terrier almost 5 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Rain decided to make her part of their program. Rain has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
