I'm Cora H., the breeder behind Chez Lexi Kennels located in Honolulu, HI. I’ve been breeding since 2009. As a small, in-home breeder, I produce limited litters from 4–6 lb parents, giving each puppy individualized care. Puppies receive early stimulation, daily monitoring, and socialization to ensure they are healthy, well-adjusted, and loving companions.

Why did you start breeding?
I’ve always loved animals and shared that passion with my daughters. In 2003, we began showing dogs, sparking my interest in breeding. I learned from my groomer and handler about structure and responsible breeding. By 2009, I began breeding myself, focusing on raising healthy, well-socialized puppies in a loving home environment.What makes your program special?
I’ve been raising AKC Maltese and Maltipoos since 2009, inspired by showing dogs with my daughter in 2003. In my small, in-home kennel, I produce limited litters from 4–6 lb parents, giving each puppy hands-on care, early stimulation, socialization, and potty training. My experience and personal approach help me raise healthy, well-adjusted, loving companions..What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Maltipoo puppies are apricot. Maltese puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cora
Cora has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Cora partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
