I'm Cora H., the breeder behind Chez Lexi Kennels located in Honolulu, HI. We do our best to socialize and acclimate each litter so we’re able to offer all-around healthy and well-mannered puppies! We are a small enough program that we are able to thoroughly focus on each individual dog and puppy and their needs. We take pride in the time and dedication we give to every litter.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My daughter and I started showing dogs back in 2003 which sparked my interest in breeding. My groomer and handler shared a lot about dogs and breeding and I learned a lot from them. I have been breeding dogs since 2009.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Maltese puppies are white. Maltipoo puppies are apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cora

Cora has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The puppies are raised in my home and will be training to use puppy pads when they go home after 7-8 weeks of age. The puppies will have a vet check, worming, and first vaccine. Maltese and maltipoos are hypoallergenic and great for people with dog dander allergies. They do not shed or have a doggie smell. They do require regular grooming. Local pick up sales only. AKC pedigree family tree inspection of pure bred maltese is available to ensure proper breeding practices. Contract describes the specifics of the deposit.”

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
