I'm Gina S., the breeder behind Chisholm Trail Kennels located in Hico, TX. We breed quality well-socialized family pets. Our dogs are healthy and happy and we are proud to produce and raise the best pups! All of our dogs are tested and each puppy goes home with a health guarantee. We are committed to providing you with an exceptional experience and the perfect new family member!

What makes your program special?
Our program is not an ordinary type of breeder situation. Every one of our pups is born in our home and socialized all over our 35-acre ranch and handled every day. All pups are not only tested for genetic health issues but bred for great conformation. We have a true passion for Pembroke and American Corgi Breeds. We love to keep our families in the loop of the growth of their puppy so weekly pictures.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
American Corgi puppies include red, black and tan, brindle and white, blue merle and white, and brindle merle and white. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include red, sable, blue, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Gina partners with them to find the best puppy match.

"All pups pricing is for pet homes only & possible discussion of full rights to a small program, 2 rounds of immunizations, deworming, health guarantee, and thorough socialization. All babies are raised in our ranch home and are handled and loved every day. The non-refundable deposit is to secure your new furbaby."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
