Our focus is on raising happy, healthy puppies that are well-socialized with children and other dogs. With over 40 years of experience, our team excels in both parent and puppy care.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Samantha's lifelong love for dogs began in childhood, where she amazed others by training her dog with remarkable skill. This passion led her to specialize in raising, training, and showing Bernese Mountain Dogs. Three years ago, she was drawn to Chocolate Cavaliers, sparking her interest in canine genetics and responsible breeding to improve their health.

    Samantha's breeding program is remarkable for her knowledge in dog genetics and training. With years of experience, she knows genetics well and is great at training dogs. Samantha cares deeply about making the breed healthier and happier. Samantha's dedication and skills aim to make Chocolate Cavaliers' lines better, ensuring each puppy shows her care and hard work.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and white, tri-color, black and tan, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Samantha

Samantha has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Samantha partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a 2 year health guarantee, AKC registrations, the first rounds of vaccinations & deworming, and puppy socialization. Non-Refundable, but can be changed to another available puppy.”

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    My wife and I were considering adopting a Cavalier puppy and a friend recommended we look at Gooddog.com and that is how we found Samantha from Chocolate Cavalier. We looked at other breeders on Gooddog but Samantha was one of the few breeders (within driving distance for us) that included the parents’ health information. While we were considering adopting Cavalier, we also saw she had Cavapoo puppies available. We arranged a phone meeting so we could ask questions and find out some of the differences in temperament between the 2 breeds. It was a tough decision between the two breeds but we ultimately decided on a Cavapoo. Samantha was helpful in providing lodging recommendations for us since it was a 5 hour drive for us each way. We met 2 of the cavapoo’s (Chai and Cider) and while it was a tough decision we chose Cider, now renamed to Chakotay. He is a wonderful puppy and a quick learner. Samantha was very helpful during the adoption process and also answering our questions after the adoption process. We are considering a 2nd Cavapoo down the road and we will definitely adopt from Samantha again.
