Meet the breeder

I'm CLC S., the breeder behind CLC SOUTHERN YORKIES located in Grand Terrace, CA. We breed for excellent temperaments, wonderful personalities, and most of all, health! We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best life possible while with us. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

Q. & A. with CLC

  • Why did you start breeding?

My mother was a dog fancier when I was growing up. It was so much fun having the opportunity to live in a home full of dogs and what I now call "Happy" chaos. As a teen, I got my feet wet in the ring competing in shows alongside some amazing Dog handlers. I can proudly say my love and passion for dogs, especially Yorkies is very much the same as it was all those years ago.
  • What makes your program special?

I strive to produce excellent, well-balanced pups that will excel in any environment whether that's in a working or companionship home. Since my husband is a disabled vet and my son has a disability, service animals, and Therapy dogs are near and dear to my heart. We start all our pups with ENS by way of a mixture of puppy culture, Aviddog, and a few things I've learned dealing with our own service dogs. I believe our focus on mind, body, and soul is what sets us apart from the rest.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include tan, blue and gold, black and tan, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from CLC

CLC has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, CLC partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We are highly selective in the placement of our puppies and are committed to matching them with exceptional well qualified homes. Availability is intentionally limited, and each application undergoes a thorough review, followed by a personal consultation to ensure alignment in lifestyle, expectations and overall compatibility. Our program is thoughtfully curated, focusing on quality, temperament and long term well being. Each puppy is raised with extensive attention to early development, socialization and care providing a strong foundation for life. As a result we seek families who truly value the level of dedication behind our program and are fully prepared to continue that same care and commitment. While we use our experience and insight to guide the matching process we do not guarantee specific placements. Not every puppy is suited for every home and we reserve the right to place each puppy where we feel it will thrive most. We are dedicated to creating lifelong partnerships between our puppies and their families. This is not simply a placement process but a carefully considered experience designed for those who value quality, intention and a lasting companionship.”

Price

Puppy prices include between $35 - $7,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
