I'm Susanna Y., the breeder behind Cocker Cottage located in Winston Salem, NC. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! We started breeding with the simple mission to breed the very best dogs that we can, to raise them with love, and to find them the perfect future homes.

Why did you start breeding?
This breeding venture will only last until our two females are retired. We expect to have only a total of 5 - 7 more litters before we are completely done raising puppies.What makes your program special?
We have a very unique niche of having 5 young kids, and we are living in a small house, and our puppies are raised around so many noises and smells in our loud household! We have gotten feedback about how well adjusted and friendly our puppies are - to the point that people are quite lavish with their praise! We are proud of the quality of well adjusted little fur babies we are producing.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, buff and white, buff, brown and white, brown, and brown and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“The minimum price includes limited AKC Papers. Puppy will come w/ new puppy bundle which includes blanket, Toy, small bag of puppy food, and vet certificate that show the puppy is up to date. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color or size. $2000 Price includes Limited AKC registration. $3000 for full registration- and many questions before we agree to this. :).”

I have to say that Coco (Chico) is really a delight. He is alert, bright, and always ready for his daily walks. I thought at first that the noises of NYC would frighten him, but he is fascinated and curious about the people and sounds around him. Coco is healthy and happy, and accolades must go out to Susanna, the breeder. She is also very organized with Coco‘s veterinary health report, and she will answer any questions that you might have. I would highly recommend Susanna for anyone who wants a furry, best friend.

Susanna was more than accommodating with our request for information and video/photo request of Bolt (now Winston)! She was proactive to communicate and transparent through the whole process! We have had Winston for almost 6 months now and he has been a great joy for our family! He has the best temperament! He’s a neighborhood staple with his gentle and happy demeanor towards everyone! Our two young boys love him and he fits in perfectly with them. We are potentially looking at getting Winston a buddy and will be checking in with Susanna in the near future!

Meeting Susanna was great! She was so quick to respond to my messages beforehand, and was flexible with traveling schedule! She sent me tons of photo updates before pick up date. She had AKC registration papers with a bag filled with puppy’s blanket, food and a toy! He had a great ride home and has been adjusting great to home training and care— we could definitely tell he was well loved before becoming ours! 🫶 We are so thankful!

She was so thoughtful to send lots of photos and videos of our sweet girl and was attentive to any questions we had regarding the process, her development, and more. We were so impressed with how socialized our puppy was, and she snuggled right into our arms the moment we met her! She is a love bug! Hazelnut (formerly Biscuit) has been in our home for a few weeks now and she is the sweetest little dog, healthy and happy! We are so happy and thankful to have her in our family!
