Q. & A. with Gretchen
Why did you start breeding?
I didn't start out to be a breeder. I had a beautiful female Labrador that I wanted a pup from. My sister took a pup from my litter and had it trained to be her service dog. The other 3 pups were sold to families. I started getting phones calls from friends of those families as to when I might be having another litter. And so goes the story.
What makes your program special?
I take huge pride in fully health testing my parent dogs for all genetic tests that plague Labradors. I only breed to the same tested studs. My babies are all hand raised and want for nothing until they go to their new homes.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
