Meet the breeder

I'm Nicci c., the breeder behind Come what May Rottweillers & rescues llc located in Brighton, TN. Our Rottweiler Breeding & Rescue Program is built on a deep respect for the breed’s history, temperament, and working ability. We are committed to preserving the Rottweiler’s hallmark traits—strength, loyalty, intelligence, and confidence.

Q. & A. with Nicci

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding in 2006, but the foundation for it started long before that. I’ve always had an eye for dogs — their structure, their temperament, their presence — and over time that natural interest grew into a passion for understanding what makes a truly exceptional dog. What began as curiosity turned into a commitment to learning, improving, and doing things the right way.
  • What makes your program special?

I invest in ongoing education, taking classes in canine temperament, behavior, and responsible breeding practices. I also bring something that can’t be taught in a classroom: an experienced eye for structure and presence. Years of studying movement, balance, and breed type
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Nicci

Nicci has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Nicci partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“ I look for owners who understand temperament, training, and structure — or who are open to guidance. Families must be prepared to continue socialization, manners, and confidence‑building. I prefer homes that value obedience and structure. I make sure buyers understand the breed’s needs, drive, and temperament so the dog is set up for success. I evaluate each puppy’s temperament and structure to ensure the placement fits the family’s lifestyle. I talk with families to get a feel for their personality, expectations, and readiness.”
