I'm Cookie W., the breeder behind Cookie's Puppies located in Saint Augustine, FL. All our puppies are registered with the AKC and will have required shots at 8 weeks old. At three days old, they were all examined by a veterinarian for a physical examination and to have their tails docked and rear dew claws removed. All puppies were declared to be beautiful, healthy puppies. The new puppies are exposed to loving behavior, and we expect their new owners will be in love with their puppy and looking forward to a lifetime of fun and endless puppy kisses.
We do expect the puppies to be between 4-6 lbs. when fully grown. A deposit pf $500 is required to secure a puppy. Female puppies - $2500 and the male - $2000. Puppies available after July 12, 2025.
MOM - Bella is two years old and is 8-9 pounds. She is very active and an avid swimmer. She is loving, comforting and generous to her first beautiful litter of 5 puppies.
DAD - Charlie is just one year old and weighs 4 pounds. He is very curious and animated giving lots of excited kisses when we return home.
Q. & A. with Cookie
Why did you start breeding?
Following our move to the USA in 1987, we have continued to allow our pets to breed in a natural way. We only have two Yorkshire Terriers at one time, both AKC accredited as our beloved pets. The mother and father are permanently in our home as they are part of our family. The entire litter (3 girls and 2 boys) will stay with their parents onsite until they leave for their forever home. We allow this natural breeding once every few years to allow the mother to fully recover and to enjoy her puppies. Breeding is not a business for us but an opportunity for our two Yorkshire Terrier pets to experience having a litter and the subsequent fun of playing with their puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
