I'm Lana M., the breeder behind Cornerpost Shiba Inus located in Jasper, NY. Our puppies are raised entirely in home with puppy culture and ENS basics, they are right here in our living room and get to meet many people and animals including cats and other dog breeds. I spend most of my days in the nest which them to love and make sure they have plenty of experiences!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My mother has bred dogs for over 12 years and I've always absolutely loved helping! I've always known that I wanted to breed dogs so after many hours of research and years of wanting my mother helped me find a Shiba mentor in the area and adopt my first shibas. My aunt and grandmother are also both dog breeders and have always been there for me to guide and advise me.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are raised completely in our homes surrounded with our love, our main focus in there development and socialization is for them to be the perfect pets. Entirely comfortable around people and all of our weirdness, entirely used to house life and being loved.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Lana

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“I put countless hours of work, stress, care, love, and everything that I have into these puppies. Not to mention the many sleepless nights watching over them and the opportunities I've lost for them. We don't accept deposits until we have a puppy for you. Your deposit will be for a gender and color, then as the puppies develop we will recommend a puppy or two to pick from, the end choice is yours.”

Contract & health guarantee

Lana may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
